Here’s what’s been happening with Falcon Adam recently.

NEWS Refurbishment continues

Over the past 3 years, in addition to regular maintenance, we have replaced all the life jackets and buoyancy aids, put in new interior lighting and curtains, put up cargo nets on each bed and added a flagpole to the stern deck.
Our next projects are the hull blacking and to get the outside professionally stripped and repainted as well as the refurbishment of the bathrooms and replacement of some of the interior floor boards.

NEWS Taster weekends now available

Taster weekends are available for adults working with children. Join us for a day or weekend to see what we can offer your club, class, youth group etc. Contact Julie at myersj@hotmail.co.uk for details.

NEWS Mooring

We are now at Frouds Bridge Marina www.froudsbridgemarina.co.uk – we are very pleased to have been welcomed into the marina in 2020. The staff are very friendly and it is a beautiful marina with parking, toilets and showers. We have a lovely bank-side mooring for easy access.

NEWS Pirate Days

NEWS Caen Hill Trips

Over the last couple of years we have been joining with youth narrowboat Lady Hilda and offering residential trips to do the Caen Hill locks. These are for adults and can be combined with training and familiarisation or used as a taster for bringing your youngsters onboard. See the calendar for dates or email Julie.

NEWS Volunteers wanted!

Our trust would be most interested to hear from anyone who has something to offer, no previous boating experience is necessary as a full introduction would be given. Volunteers are needed for painting, carpentry, social media, engine maintenance and skippering. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to your local community.
